Bocconi University (Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi) is a private university in Milan, founded in 1902 by Ferdinando Bocconi in memory of his son Luigi. It was the first Italian university to award a degree in economics.

Bocconi specialises in economics, management, finance, law, political and social sciences, and, more recently, computer science, artificial intelligence and data science. Its graduate business school, SDA Bocconi School of Management, offers MBA and executive programmes. The urban campus in southern Milan includes contemporary buildings such as the Grafton Architects-designed Sarfatti 25 complex and the SANAA-designed campus extension.

A large proportion of bachelor's and master's programmes are taught entirely in English, and the university has an extensive international exchange network. Admission is selective, based on the Bocconi online test or international tests such as SAT/GMAT/GRE, depending on programme. Fees vary by income for eligible students, and merit and need-based awards are offered. University residences are available.
