Its historic Tha Phra Chan campus beside the Chao Phraya River near the Grand Palace focuses on law, political science, social sciences and the humanities, while the large Rangsit campus in Pathum Thani hosts engineering, medicine, sciences and many other faculties. Campuses also operate in Lampang and Pattaya. The Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) and Thammasat Business School are well known.
