IE University is a private university in Spain linked to IE Business School, with campuses in Segovia and Madrid. Recognised as a university in 1997 (originally as SEK University in Segovia) and later integrated into the IE group, it has grown into one of Spain's most international institutions, with students from well over 100 countries.
The Segovia campus occupies the historic Convent of Santa Cruz la Real, while the Madrid campus includes the IE Tower on the Paseo de la Castellana. Schools cover business, law, global and public affairs, architecture and design, science and technology, and humanities, and the university offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes, many in dual-degree formats.
Most programmes are taught in English, with some offered in Spanish. Admission is by IE's own application, admissions test and interview, and the IE Foundation offers merit and need-based scholarships. Student residences are available near both campuses.
