Universidad del Pacífico is a private, non-profit university in Lima, Peru, founded in 1962 by business leaders and the Society of Jesus. It is known as a specialist institution in economics and business.
Its campus in the Jesús María district hosts undergraduate programmes in economics, business administration, accounting, finance, marketing, international business, law, business engineering and information engineering, along with a graduate school offering MBA and specialised master's programmes. Its research centre (CIUP) contributes to economic and public policy debate in Peru.
Teaching is in Spanish, with English proficiency required. Admission is through the university's own processes, and tuition is scaled by family income with scholarships available.
