The Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) is a public technical university in Ulaanbaatar. It originated in 1959 as part of the National University of Mongolia's engineering faculty and became an independent polytechnic institute in 1969.
MUST is Mongolia's largest technical university, with schools covering geology and mining engineering, civil engineering and architecture, mechanical engineering and transportation, power engineering, information and communication technology, industrial technology and design, applied sciences and business, and regional branches.
Teaching is mainly in Mongolian, with some English-taught and joint programmes.
