Universidad EAFIT is a private, non-profit university in Medellín, Colombia. It was founded in 1960 by business leaders as the Escuela de Administración y Finanzas, and has grown into a comprehensive university.
EAFIT has schools of administration, engineering, economics and finance, law, humanities, sciences, and arts and design. Its main campus in the El Poblado area is complemented by sites in Bogotá, Pereira and Llanogrande. The university is known for business education, engineering, and its innovation and entrepreneurship programmes linked with Medellín's business community.
